In the sparring mode, you can view the enchantments of the character's equipment and change weapon.

In the weapons section, you can change the equipped item using the ZL and ZR triggers. To reset the weapon to the default, press both triggers ZL+ZR simultaneously. To return to the previous selection - press both ZL+ZR triggers simultaneously again.
Keep in mind that there are more weapons than characters and changing them can strengthen or weaken the selected character. With the unlocking of new characters, their weapons also become available in the weapon list.
