Shadow Fight Arena uses the Elo rating principles. The change in points after the match depends solely on the ratio of your rating to your opponent's rating:
- If you and your opponent have the same rating, the winner gets the same number of points as lost by the loser;
- If your opponent's rating is higher than yours, you get more points if you defeat them and lose fewer if you are defeated;
- The opposite is also true: if your opponent's rating is lower, you get fewer points if you win and lose more if the opponent wins.
The level of the account or heroes used doesn’t count.
If you click "AI OPPONENT" during matchmaking, defeating such an opponent will give you fewer rating points than defeating a real player, but if you lose, you also lose fewer points.
